Initially called as the Buckingham House, the Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the British monarch in London. The Palace is a setting for state occasions and royal entertaining and a major tourist attraction.
Changing of the Guard takes place in front of the Buckingham palace and is popular with tourists to London from 1st April to mid July and on alternate days at other times of the year. Visitors are allowed access to some areas of the palace only.
